North Park Innovations Group, the manufacturers of the iManifold platform, is collaborating with the University at Buffalo (UB) Center for Industrial Effectiveness (TCIE) to evolve years’ worth of iManifold HVACR data with machine learning and AI.
As profiled in Buffalo Business First, CEO Bill Northrup is working with David Doermann, PhD, director of the UB Artificial Intelligence Institute, which launched in fall 2018. Doermann was recruited from the University of Maryland and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
The project is enabling AI in new products, such as the iManifold PULSE!, as well as additional features for the iManifold’s diagnostics, reporting and analytics package.
